Lord God, we give you thanks for MLA
Yens Pedersen we ask that you give him and his family a sense of peace as they
adjust to this new avenue of service to our province. We look to you that you
would give him ability to be a strong member of a loyal opposition, loyal to
you and to the people of our province particularly his constituents and the
agriculture industry he represents.
Yens Pedersen was elected as the MLA for Regina Northeast in a by-election on September 12, 2018. Yens is a Regina lawyer, small business owner, and community builder who has represented family-owned businesses, employees, unions, seniors, farmers and families. Growing up on a small family farm near Cut Knife, he learned from a young age the value of hard work, individual initiative, and helping each other. He gives generously of his time and abilities by teaching beekeeping classes, offering expertise on non-profit boards, and serving on the community council at his daughters’ school.
