Thank you that you are a God of order. In this election, where there are platforms or ideas that are frivolous or poorly considered, we ask you to expose the gaps. Where there is intent to disrupt or derail, shine your light on wrong intentions. Give us eyes to see your plan for the legislature and a sincere desire to submit to your purposes. Amen.

Father we ask that you would bless our candidates with excellent health during the remainder of this campaign. For those who may be growing weary, refresh and rejuvenate them. Protect them as they travel and interact with a variety of people in a variety of locations. Thank you for the safety we know in Saskatchewan; may we never take that for granted. Amen
Monday, March 28, 2016
Gracious Lord, extend your mercy to candidates who may be experiencing undeserved persecution, accusations or animosity. Grant them the ability to respond, where needed, with grace and integrity. Protect their reputation, co-workers, family and friends from those who would seek their destruction. Give the voters clarity to know the truth in all situations.
Saturday, March 26, 2016
Lord we pray that all critical ideas and concerns would have the opportunity to be presented in these final days, enabling people to make informed choices with all the necessary information available. Cause those whose voices have merit and may be lost in the shuffle, to be heard clearly on issues of importance. Amen
Friday, March 25, 2016
Heavenly Father, today as we remember the sacrifice you made in sending your Son, cause our hearts to be filled with thanksgiving for your amazing gift of salvation. May it also serve as a reminder to appreciate those who sacrifice on a different level in service to our province and country; sacrifices of personal life, family time, hobbies and time. May this weekend be one of self-reflection, introspection and rest for the candidates.
Thursday, March 24, 2016
With the leading candidates having now had the opportunity to debate publically, Father, would you give the voters wisdom in considering and discerning the dialogue and the platforms presented. Give them eyes to see what may appear hidden; ears to hear what may have been unsaid or misinterpreted; and, hearts attuned to your heart. Allow people to respectfully see past those whose intent is to cause division and disunity and focus on what is important.
Wednesday, March 23, 2016
Lord you have blessed us with the ability for creativity and imagination, and we ask that you would release these qualities in our prospective leaders in abundance. We know you as one “who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Eph. 3:20), and we believe you desire to honour and use our imaginative solutions to the issues and problems we are presented with, for the good of our province. Amen.
Monday, March 21, 2016
Heavenly Father, you bless those who revere your name and delight in your commands. In the powerful name of our Almighty God, Amen.
Sunday, March 20, 2016
Lord Jesus, you modelled for us a way of life that was industrious, faithfully labouring for your Father’s purposes; help our leaders to do likewise. Let no unworthy affection draw them away from your purposes, and let them steward our resources in ways that yield God-honouring fruit. Give them boldness, courage, and grace to finish their race well. (1 Co 15:58)
Saturday, March 19, 2016
Amazing God, fill your chosen candidates with confidence, sure in the knowledge that is based on the foundation of your word. Cause them to have a very real sense of what our province truly needs in this season as well as the ability to develop and present it with a confidence others do not possess. Give them influence and respect according to your purposes. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we know that just as iron sharpens iron, one man or woman can sharpen another. We pray this may be done in a gracious and compassionate manner, in a way that will build up the ones who are running in this election and also build up the communities in which they are running. Grant a spirit of accountability to all the candidates so that they will put the needs of others first. In the powerful name of our Almighty God, Amen.
Wednesday, March 16, 2016
God our Father, Jesus our Lord, Holy Spirit our helper and guide, make our leaders resilient. When life knocks them down, when peace seems to elude them, when they are feeling crushed under the weight of burdens, enable them to rise from the ashes in ways that bring glory and honour to a God who has promised to be “an ever-present help in times of trouble.” (Ps. 121:1)
Tuesday, March 15, 2016
Thank you for those who have chosen to stand in the realm of political work. We ask you to grant them the patience to endure, and the faithfulness to honor their commitments. We ask you to encourage them where they are weary and refresh them in their vision and purpose. In Jesus name, Amen.

Father we ask that you would establish leaders who are willing to embrace transparency. Grant them amazing wisdom to know when, how much, and whom to share information, ideas and issues with. Cause them to be blessed with wise and supportive relationships, both personal and professional, that allow them to be open and transparent in a safe environment. Amen.
Sunday, March 13, 2016
Dear Lord, we thank you for discernment. We pray that our leaders would have the ability to discern between right and wrong, old and new, what is good and what is best. We pray for discernment to move forward at a healthy pace so they don’t get stuck in the present or the past. Thank you for opening their eyes to see. Amen.
Saturday, March 12, 2016
Omniscient Father, you have full knowledge of everything in your grasp; there is nothing that surprises you. We pray each candidate who is running in this election will know your wisdom and insight each and every day of the campaign and afterwards, if elected. Let them see your plans and purposes for Saskatchewan and align their plans with yours. Amen.
Friday, March 11, 2016
Courageous God, keeper of promises, grant our leaders courage so they might stand firm in and for your truth and be your hands and feet to a hurting world. You are the Lord who keeps His promises, who conquered the power of death, who promised to be with us. You said, “Fear not,” so grant them steady hearts that are anchored in you and your promises, and teach them what it means to strengthen themselves in the Lord. (1 Sam. 30.6)
Thursday, March 10, 2016
Father God, we ask that you give each political leader the strength and humility to walk in integrity. We ask that you bless them with insight to discern motive and consequence in the decisions that lay before them. We ask you to protect them from distractions and temptations that would lead them away from walking in integrity. Thank you for them, bless them in Jesus name. Amen.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” - Phil. 1:6
Dear Lord. With the upcoming election, there are many things at stake. We ask that you would orchestrate things so that anything that has been started that is good would continue until completion. We also pray that you would give the elected officials a clear sense of what the “good” is in order to keep the momentum going. Regardless of which party gets elected, we ask that you would continue working on us- the people of Saskatchewan. Amen.
Tuesday, March 8, 2016
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” - Eph 1:18.

Almighty God, you know that we are dependent upon you for everything. Grant the people of Saskatchewan the love of the Father as we prepare for the upcoming election; by the grace of your Son help us as we listen and discuss issues with others we may disagree with; and bless us with the wisdom of your Holy Spirit as we vote for those who will lead and guide our province. We ask this all in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, we recognize that these are critical days in our world. Our leaders need your guidance and your wisdom in new and fresh ways. May those who seek to represent SK, and on the world stage, be prepared to model real solutions to a confused and hurting world. Speak powerfully into their own lives that they may reflect you always.
Friday, March 4, 2016
Father, even as you are preparing us to take our place nationally, we acknowledge you are also using our leadership to speak into international issues. As your plan unfolds, put into place leaders with a calling to take our place in the affairs of the world and make a lasting difference. Help our elected members to know the source of their strength is found in you as they engage our province with the global community.
Thursday, March 3, 2016
Dear Lord, we pray for the gift of humility in our leadership. We ask that as they humble themselves and seek your guidance, those tough decisions would come easily and quickly. Your word teaches that with humility comes favour. We thank you for your favour as we seek to do what is right. Amen.
Heavenly Father, you have established your purposes for the leadership of Saskatchewan and have set in place those who were created to fulfill your purposes. Remind us, however, that your plans are not limited to our province. Our country of Canada needs us to be all you designed us to be so we can play our intended part in your plan for our nation. Give our leaderseyes to see SK and our rightful place in Canada.
