Heavenly Father, we know that just as iron sharpens iron, one man or
woman can sharpen another. We pray this may be done in a gracious and
compassionate manner, in a way that will build up the ones who are running in
this election and also build up the communities in which they are running.
Grant a spirit of accountability to all the candidates so that they will put
the needs of others first. In the powerful name of our Almighty God, Amen.
