Courageous
God, keeper of promises, grant our leaders courage so they might stand firm in
and for your truth and be your hands and feet to a hurting world. You are the
Lord who keeps His promises, who conquered the power of death, who promised to
be with us. You said, “Fear not,” so grant them steady hearts that are anchored
in you and your promises, and teach them what it means to strengthen themselves
in the Lord. (1 Sam. 30.6)
