God
our Father, Jesus our Lord, Holy Spirit our helper and guide, make our leaders
resilient. When life knocks them down, when peace seems to elude them, when they
are feeling crushed under the weight of burdens, enable them to rise from the
ashes in ways that bring glory and honour to a God who has promised to be “an
ever-present help in times of trouble.” (Ps. 121:1)
