MLA Steven Bonk, Moosomin


Father God, You have mightily blessed MLA Steven Bonk. He has been an excellent steward of the talents You have bestowed upon him. May he continue using his vast knowledge of international trade and agriculture to strengthen Saskatchewan. Bless and protect his family. Grant him rest and peace as he carries out his varied responsibilities. We pray, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Steven Bonk was elected as MLA for Moosomin on April 4, 2016.  Steven communicates in four languages, facilitating his participation on international round table discussion panels and he is a recognized speaker at agribusiness-related events. Steven is also actively involved in his family's custom grazing and livestock business near Wolseley.   Steven, his wife Candace, and their daughter, Emma, have strong ties to the Moosomin constituency. They are the fifth generation of his family to reside there.

MLA Buckley Belanger, Athabasca


Father, we thank You for Buckley Belanger and his role in the legislative assembly.  Grant him wisdom in the decisions he makes daily and guide him as he serves the people of Athabasca. Keep him in good health Lord, and bring the right people to his path that will empower him and increase his sphere of influence.  
Buckley Belanger was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in 1995 and re-elected in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2016.
Buckley has been the NDP’s Deputy Whip, and served as critic for Highways and Infrastructure, SaskEnergy, SaskWater, and the Water Security Agency. In the past, Buckley has served as minister in various portfolios including Northern Affairs, Environment, Community Resources, and Highways and Transportation.
Prior to entering provincial politics, Buckley served three terms as mayor of Ile-a-la Crosse from 1988 to 1994. He has also worked as a journalist with the aboriginal publication New Breed and a programmer, producer, and administrator with the Missinipi Broadcasting Corporation in La Ronge.
He and his wife Beckie have three daughters, Michelle, Kellie, and Taylor.

MLA Carla Beck, Regina Lakeview

Lord we pray today for MLA Carla Beck. We give thanks for her service to Regina Lakeview and to the province. May her background in social work, as a school trustee, volunteer, and community leader assist her in her role as opposition critic for Education, Early Learning and Childcare, Crown Investments Corp, SGI, and SaskEnergy. Grant her wisdom, knowledge and understanding in all things. Father, envelope her in Your love. Reveal Yourself to her. May her heart be open and tender toward You, Lord. May her life bring glory to You. Amen.

Carla Beck was elected in 2016 as the MLA for Regina Lakeview.
Carla serves as Deputy Opposition Whip and is the critic for Education, Early Learning and Childcare, Crown Investments Corporation, Saskatchewan Government Insurance, and SaskEnergy.
Carla is married to Guy Marsden. They have made the Cathedral area of Regina their home, together with their three children, Hannah, Nolan, and Maya, for the last 20 years.
