MLA: HON. NADINE WILSON - SASKATCHEWAN RIVERS

Father we thank You for MLA: Nadine Wilson.  We thank You for the vision that she carries that impact the people of Saskatchewan. We ask that as she plans and implements her strategies that You will help her bring prosperity to the province in all areas. Bless and protect her and her family as she serves. Nadine Wilson has always gravitated towards public service. Originally from Forest Gate, north of Paddockwood, she studied social service work in Saskatoon. Nadine was one of the first women to work as a Corrections worker in the Men's Provincial Correctional Centre in Prince Albert. She was also twice elected reeve of the Rural Municipality of Paddockwood.

Nadine was first elected as the MLA for Saskatchewan Rivers in the 2007 provincial election and was re-elected in 2011. In 2009, she was appointed Legislative Secretary to the Minister Responsible for Immigration - New Citizen initiative. Nadine has served as a member of the caucus’ standing policy committee on the economy, deputy caucus Chair, and Chair of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Private Bills. Ms. Wilson is presently the Provincial Secretary.

Nadine and her husband Doug have been married for over 30 years. Fourth generation cattle ranchers, the couple and their four children ranch north of Prince Albert. They also have six grandchildren. Their role in the beef industry has given their family international travel opportunities.
