MLA: SCOTT MOE - ROSTHERN SHELLBROOK

Father, we pray today for MLA: Scott Moe. We ask that You would bless him and his committment to the province of Saskatchewan and its people. May Your peace be with him as he goes through his busy schedule. May you also give him the wisdom to accomplish all the things that he needs to while also maintaining a good balance between his work life and personal life. Keep him and his family close even when he is away. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Scott Moe was first elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in the 2011 provincial election for the Rosthern-Shellbrook constituency.

Scott was born and raised in the constituency on a grain farm between Shellbrook and Parkside. Currently, Scott and his wife Krista live in Shellbrook with their two children. As a family, they enjoy many outdoor activities including quadding, snowmobiling, water sports and cross-country skiing in what he describes as the irreplaceable landscape of Saskatchewan.

Scott was educated at the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Scott has been active in the community through his work with the Economic Development Corporation, the Shellbrook and District Health Services Project Inc., and the Shellbrook and District Physician Recruitment committee. He has also volunteered his time to work with local hockey and softball associations.

Scott presently serves as a member of the legislature’s Standing Committee of Crown and Central Agencies, the caucus’ policy committee on crowns and central agencies and was appointed Deputy Chair of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
