MLA Hon. Greg Ottenbreit, Yorkton


Dear Lord. We pray today for the Honourable Greg Ottenbreit. We ask you to continue the good work that you have started in him. Thank you for your hand of healing on his life. We also thank you for his obedience to your call. Give him a depth of wisdom in how to advance the good while mitigating the bad. May you use him to make significant differences in the lives of people all across this province. Amen

Greg was first elected as the MLA for Yorkton in the 2007 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2011 and 2016. Since September of 2014, Greg has served Saskatchewan as Minister responsible for Rural and Remote Health. Additionally, in June 2016, he was asked to take on the responsibility for the Saskatchewan-Ukraine Relations Advisory Committee.
Greg has served as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Social Services (Community Based Organizations initiative), Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Environment (Recycling), and Legislative Secretary to the Premier (Vulnerable Youth). Greg has also served as Government Whip, Deputy Government Whip, and Chair of the caucus' standing policy committee on human services as well as the legislature's Standing Committee on Human Services. 


Greg has been married to his high school sweetheart, Leone, for over 30 years. They have two daughters, Katelin and Rayanne, as well as a son-in-law, Austin, and one granddaughter, Wynnslet.
