Dear
Lord. Thank you for Kevin Phillips and the work that he does for the province
and his constituency. We ask that his time and energy would be used for noble
purposes. May he dodge the meaningless and instead put his hand to the best of
projects. Guide him in all that he does and bless his family with abiding peace
and love, amen.
Kevin Phillips was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the 2011 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2016.
Kevin has lived in the Melfort constituency for nearly 40 years. He has worked in business and advertising in Melfort, which includes being a partner with the Melfort Journal for over 25 years, and sitting on the board of the Canadian Community Newspaper Association. He most recently served as Mayor of Melfort.
Kevin has been very involved in the Melfort community. He is a past president of the Kinsmen Club of Melfort and previously served as a board member and chairman of the Melfort School Division.
Currently, Kevin serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies. Kevin and his wife April have four children and five grandchildren.
