MLA: Bronwyn Eyre - Saskatoon Stonebridge - Dakota

Thank you for Bronwyn Eyre’s willingness to represent the constituency of Saskatoon Stonebridge-Dakota and the vibrancy she brings to the task. Allow her to grasp the nuances of this new venture quickly and find her place in the legislature. Give her opportunities to share her knowledge and skills in unique ways over the coming days. Amen.

Bronwyn grew up in Saskatoon and now lives in the Stonebridge neighbourhood.Currently, she serves as a Saskatoon public school board trustee for Ward 7 (which includes Stonebridge).
Bronwyn is a former broadcaster for NewsTalk 650 CKOM and columnist for the StarPhoenix and Calgary Herald. Previously, she was a senior writer/editor for UK-based legal publicationsCommercial Lawyer and European Lawyer. She attended McGill University and the University of Saskatchewan (BA’93; LLB’96) and speaks French, German, and Italian. She has also taught German at the U of S as a sessional lecturer.Bronwyn's experience at the civic level and involvement in the community enhance her understanding of the issues facing Stonebridge-Dakota. “This is a dynamic new constituency, with a diverse mix of urban and rural areas,” she says. “I enjoy my conversations with people when I’m out door-knocking; and I’m learning a lot about what’s important to them.”
Of her decision to run for the SaskParty, Bronwyn says, “I believe in common sense and in practicality over process—low taxes, responsible spending, strict accountability, and maximum transparency. The SaskParty under Premier Brad Wall has given the people of this province a can-do pride of place in Canada. This is no time to turn back the clock.”
Bronwyn and her spouse have an 11-year-old son, Max.
