MLA: Don Toth - Moosomin

Father we are blessed by Don Toth and the many years of public service he has committed on behalf of the people of Saskatchewan. Thank you for his consistent example of strong and faithful leadership. We ask that you would cause his spiritual life to be personally challenging and fulfilling. Bless Don and Lois with much quality time together, as well as with their children and grandchildren.

Don was first elected to represent the Moosomin constituency in the 1986 general election. He was re-elected in 1991, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011. He was named Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan on December 10, 2007, the first day of the opening session of the 26th Legislature. He served as Speaker until December, 2011.

Don was born in Kipling and raised on the family farm near Langbank. Don studied agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan and then entered the Full Gospel Bible Institute in Eston, Saskatchewan. Prior to his political career, Don served his community on a number of boards and organization and also served on an RM council.

Aside from his political duties, Don keeps himself busy helping on the farm and spending time with his wife Lois, their children, and most importantly, the three grandchildren.
