MLA: DON TOTH - MOOSOMIN

Lord Jesus, thank You for the life and commitment of MLA: Don Toth to the people of Saskatchewan and to his own riding of Moosomin. We pray that You will give him even more opportunities in the coming years to bless and help the people around him. Give him a deeply rich spiritual walk as well as health and safety for he and his family. Amen.

Don was first elected to represent the Moosomin constituency in the 1986 general election. He was re-elected in 1991, 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011. He was named Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan on December 10, 2007, the first day of the opening session of the 26th Legislature. He served as Speaker until December, 2011.

Don was born in Kipling and raised on the family farm near Langbank. Don studied agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan and then entered the Full Gospel Bible Institute in Eston, Saskatchewan. Prior to his political career, Don served his community on a number of boards and organization and also served on an RM council.

Aside from his political duties, Don keeps himself busy helping on the farm and spending time with his wife Lois, their children, and most importantly, the three grandchildren.
