Father God, you have directed in Doug's life
through the various ways he has volunteered and served in his community.He
has been recognized and supported by the constituents of Cypress Hills.
Thank you, God, for his achievements and his willingness to be a member of
the SK Legislature. May your wisdom continue to
guide and bless him. Grant him good physical and emotional health. Bless

Doug was elected MLA for Cypress Hills in the April 2016 provincial election. He currently serves Saskatchewan as a member of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice. Doug and his wife Phyllis own and operate a fourth-generation family farm and have three grown children and two grandchildren.
