Father, you have placed in
Gordon a gifting and desire to serve, and he has served individuals and others
to his gain and you have blessed him in his endeavours. Father I ask of
you that you would turn Gordon's heart to service of a new kind. Service of
the heart where his desire would be to see truth and righteousness upheld. To
see that the government in which he serves, serves rightly. May he be
stricken with a burning desire to see the right win out, and the direction and
guidance You would desire come to fruition.
Gordon Wyant was elected MLA for Saskatoon Northwest in an October 2010 by-election. He was then re-elected in the 2011 and 2016 provincial elections. Gordon currently serves as Deputy Premier, Minister of Education, and Minister responsible for SaskBuilds and Priority Saskatchewan. Gordon and his wife Christine Hrudka have four children. In addition to his family, Gordon enjoys writing, skiing and motorcycling. He is also the proud recipient of the Sterling Writing Award for non-fiction, awarded in 1999.
