MLA - Hon. Bronwyn Eyre - Saskatoon Stonebridge-Dakota

Bronwyn Eyre was elected MLA for Saskatoon Stonebridge-Dakota in the 2016 provincial election.

A former radio broadcaster and columnist, Bronwyn also served as a Saskatoon public school board trustee. Previously, she was a senior writer/editor for UK-based legal publications Commercial Lawyer and European Lawyer. She attended McGill University and the University of Saskatchewan (BA’93, LL.B.’96) and speaks French, German, and Italian.

On August 23, 2016, Bronwyn was appointed Minister of Advanced Education.

MLA: Hon. Dustin Duncan - Weyburn-Big Muddy

Dear Lord. We pray today for the honourable Dustin Duncan. We ask you to protect he and his family from the designs of the enemy. Give him wisdom and patience as he navigates the current economic challenges. Develop his capacities to do even more with the resources that he has. Thank you for his spiritual life, and we ask that you would increase his connection with you. Amen. 

Dustin Duncan was first elected as MLA for the constituency of Weyburn-Big Muddy in a by-election in June 2006 at the age of 26. Dustin was re-elected in the 2007, 2011, and 2016 provincial elections.

In 2016, Dustin was appointed Minister of Energy and Resources, and Minister responsible for SaskEnergy Incorporated and Saskatchewan Telecommunications. He is also a member of the Board of Internal Economy. Previously, he served as Minister of Health, Minister of Environment, and Minister responsible for SaskEnergy and SaskWater. He was first appointed to cabinet in May 2009 as Minister of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport. Prior to being named to cabinet, Dustin served as chair of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.

Dustin and his wife Amanda were both born, raised, and educated in the Weyburn area. He and Amanda have one son, Jack. Dustin obtained an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Regina.

MLA: Larry Doke - Cut Knife-Turtleford

Dear Lord. Thank you for Larry Doke and his work for the people of Saskatchewan. We ask today that you would give him a renewed sense of the opportunities in front of him. Gather the people around him who can make real differences, and help him sort out the real needs from the distractions. Bless he and his wife with health and happiness. Amen.

First elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the 2011 provincial election, Larry Doke was re-elected in April of 2016.

Larry currently resides in the resort village of Metinota where he has served as a councillor, the director of the West Yellowhead Waste Resource Authority, and as the chair of the Jackfish Lake West Water Utility and Waste Water Utility.

Before moving to Metinota, Larry was the owner/operator of Fairview Dodge in North Battleford. He also took time to be involved in the North Battleford community by sitting as a board member of the local Chamber of Commerce, spending 12 years on the Parks and Recreation Board and 14 years on the board of the North Battleford Golf and Country Club with two years as its president.

Larry has served Saskatchewan as a member of Treasury Board and Investment Board and, in 2014, Premier Wall asked Larry to serve as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Highways. He currently serves as a member of the Public Accounts Committee, and was previously a member of the Standing Committee on the Economy.

Larry and his wife Valerie have two children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys restoring muscle cars, golfing, fishing and volunteering in the Metinota community.

MLA: Hon. Kevin Doherty - Regina Northeast

Dear Lord. We pray today for the Honourable Kevin Doherty. We ask you to be a stable hand in his challenging journey as minister of finance. Give him insight and wisdom as he balances priorities and makes decisions that have major consequences on Saskatchewan people. Amen.


Kevin was first elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in November 2011 for the constituency of Regina Northeast. Soon after, Kevin was appointed to serve as a member of Treasury Board. Born in Rose Valley, Kevin Doherty’s parents Lenora and Mike still live on the family farm.

In June, 2014, Kevin was appointed as Minister of Advanced Education and Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Telecommunications. He has served as Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport.

After graduating from Rose Valley High School, Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan in 1985.

In his professional life, he has worked as a division director for Investors Group (he was formely a certified financial planner), the director of government relations for Bayer Healthcare, as well as the manager of provincial relations for Glaxo Wellcome. Recently, Kevin served as the vice-president of corporate relations for SaskPower.

Kevin has a strong and diverse track record of community involvement. His service includes former president of the University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union; former member of the University of Saskatchewan board of governors; former vice-chair of the Hospitals of Regina Foundation; former member of the Regina Chamber of Commerce board of directors; and former president of the Saskatchewan Special Olympics.

Kevin enjoys spending time at the cabin in northern Saskatchewan, travelling, golfing, reading, motorcycling, and snowmobiling.

MLA: Hon. Mark Docherty - Regina Coronation Park - Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport and Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission

Dear Lord. Thank you for Mark Docherty. Today we ask you to give him an extra portion of energy and drive for the season ahead. Bring new challenges that spark his interest. Refresh his heart with a meaningful devotional life, and time spent in prayer. Amen.



In June 2014, he was appointed as Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport and Minister Responsible for the Provincial Capital Commission. Mark previously served as the Legislative Secretary for disabilities and was a member of the human services caucus policy and standing committees, the committee on priorities and planning and served on the Cabinet committee for creative industries. 

Mark has worked in a number of different roles including, director of immigration settlement, director of Dales House, supervisor for health, team leader at Paul Dojack Youth Centre and as clinical director of Leading Thunderbird Lodge; a youth treatment centre for File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council.

Additionally, Mark is a founding board member of Street Culture Kidz Project and has served on the board of the North Central Community Association.

Mark has earned three degrees – a Bachelor of Science through Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, a Bachelor of Human Justice from University of Regina, majoring in human rights and a Masters of Social Work, also from U of R. His interest in education has led Mark to teach Kawacatoose LPN students and youth care workers for SIAST and several courses at the University of Regina.

Mark has also represented Saskatchewan at the provincial and national levels in team handball, rugby, and lacrosse. He has competed in triathlons around the world and is a three-time finisher of the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon World Championships.

MLA: Terry Dennis - Canora-Pelly

Dear Lord. We pray today for Terry Dennis. We ask you to round up the people that can be part of his team. Give them a renewed vision for their constituency, and the potential that is there. Terry Dennis was elected MLA for Canora-Pelly on April 4, 2016.

Terry has been involved in politics at the civic level, as a Mayor and Town Councilor, for over 20 years. He is also the co-owner of Dennis Foods in Canora.

In addition to his busy professional life, Terry has been involved in the community as a volunteer with the Canora Health Foundation, member of the SaskTel Board of Directors, and various coaching and executive positions with Canora Minor Sports.

Terry currently serves Saskatchewan as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.

He and his wife Lorri have two daughters and one son.

MLA: Dan D'Autremont - Cannington

Dear Lord. Thank you for Dan D’autremont. Thank you for his faithfulness, and his commitment to Saskatchewan. We pray that he would have a deepening walk with you and a renewed commitment to excellence. Refresh his life with a new understanding of how faith colours everything. Amen.

One of the "Original Eight" founding members of the Saskatchewan Party, Dan was first elected to the Legislature in 1991. He was re-elected in 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2016.

In opposition, Dan served as critic for Highways, Education, Energy and Mines, Health, SaskTel, ITO, SLGA and SGI. While critic for the SLGA, Dan also worked closely with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority and First Nations. He served as the chair of the caucus' Crown Corporations Committee and vice-chair of the legislature's Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.

Since the Saskatchewan Party formed government, Dan has served as Minister responsible for SLGA, Government Services, and ITO. He has also served as Government House Leader, co-chair of the Legislation and Regulation Review Committee, as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies, and as a member of the Public Accounts Committee.

For the 27th Legislature, Dan served as Speaker of Legislative Assembly, chair of the Board of Internal Economy, the Privileges Committee, and the House Services Committee. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Human Services and a member of the Private Bills Committee.

Dan and his wife Heather have three children. Family, friends, and politics are Dan's top priorities, but he also enjoys hunting, shooting, reading, computers, gaming with his children, and the Air Cadet League.
