Father you have designed us for your purposes and for your glory. You have placed within us skills, creativity and the desire to challenge the status quo. You create leaders and bring them to places of influence according to your will. Show us your heart, Lord. Amen

Thank you that you are a God of order. In this election, where there are platforms or ideas that are frivolous or poorly considered, we ask you to expose the gaps. Where there is intent to disrupt or derail, shine your light on wrong intentions. Give us eyes to see your plan for the legislature and a sincere desire to submit to your purposes. Amen.

60 Days of Prayer - A Prayer for Health and Safety

Father we ask that you would bless our candidates with excellent health during the remainder of this campaign. For those who may be growing weary, refresh and rejuvenate them. Protect them as they travel and interact with a variety of people in a variety of locations. Thank you for the safety we know in Saskatchewan; may we never take that for granted. Amen 

60 Days of Prayer - Extend Your Mercy

Gracious Lord, extend your mercy to candidates who may be experiencing undeserved persecution, accusations or animosity. Grant them the ability to respond, where needed, with grace and integrity. Protect their reputation, co-workers, family and friends from those who would seek their destruction. Give the voters clarity to know the truth in all situations.

60 Days of Prayer - For All to be Heard

Lord we pray that all critical ideas and concerns would have the opportunity to be presented in these final days, enabling people to make informed choices with all the necessary information available. Cause those whose voices have merit and may be lost in the shuffle, to be heard clearly on issues of importance. Amen 

60 Days of Prayer - A Prayer of Thankfulness

Heavenly Father, today as we remember the sacrifice you made in sending your Son, cause our hearts to be filled with thanksgiving for your amazing gift of salvation. May it also serve as a reminder to appreciate those who sacrifice on a different level in service to our province and country; sacrifices of personal life, family time, hobbies and time. May this weekend be one of self-reflection, introspection and rest for the candidates.

60 Days of Prayer - Give Voters Wisdom

With the leading candidates having now had the opportunity to debate publically, Father, would you give the voters wisdom in considering and discerning the dialogue and the platforms presented. Give them eyes to see what may appear hidden; ears to hear what may have been unsaid or misinterpreted; and, hearts attuned to your heart. Allow people to respectfully see past those whose intent is to cause division and disunity and focus on what is important.
