MLA - Hon. Ken Cheveldayoff - Saskatoon Willowgrove

Dear Lord. We pray today for the Honourable Ken Cheveldayoff. We ask you to give him a divinely inspired purpose in the next season. May you impress a specific assignment on his heart that would guide his work at the legislature and with the ministry he supervises. Bless he and his family with a great summer. Amen.

Ken was first elected MLA for Saskatoon Silver Springs in 2003. He was re-elected in the 2007 and 2011 provincial elections. With the changes in provincial boundaries, he was re-elected in 2016 as the MLA for Saskatoon Willowgrove.

Since the Saskatchewan Party formed government, Ken has been responsible for various portfolios including time as Minister of Crown Corporations, Minister of Enterprise, Minister responsible for SaskEnergy, and Minister responsible for Trade.

Ken has served Saskatchewan as Minister of First Nations and Métis Relations, Minister responsible for Sask Gaming Corporation, and Minister responsible for Northern Affairs.  He has also been Minister of Environment, Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Watershed Authority and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Corporation.

Ken is currently Minister of Parks, Culture and Sport, and Minister responsible for the Public Service Commission. He sits on the caucus Legislation and Regulation Review Committee. He was previously a member of the Privileges Committee and the House Services Committee.

Ken attended Carleton University in Ottawa, the University of Saskatchewan, and Newport University in Southern California, receiving a B.A. (Honours) in Economics and Political Science in 1988 and a Masters of Business Administration in 1996.

Prior to being elected, Ken worked with Western Economic Diversification assisting individual businesses and industries to grow and expand.

Ken and his wife Trish have raised their son Carter and daughter Paige in Saskatoon, and the entire family is very active in several community organizations and activities

MLA - Danielle Chartier - Saskatoon - Riversdale

Dear Lord. We pray today for Danielle Chartier. We ask you to bring her the concerns of people that might otherwise be missed. Help her to be a key member of the opposition. Bless her personal life with rich relationships and meaningful spiritual time with you. Amen

On September 21, 2009, Danielle Chartier was elected MLA for Saskatoon Riversdale in a by-election resulting from the retirement of former MLA, Lorne Calvert; she was re-elected in 2011 and 2016.

Danielle is a third-generation resident of the Saskatoon Riversdale constituency. Originally trained as a journalist, Danielle has worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, as well as weekly newspapers and monthly magazines.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Regina, she worked for the Saskatchewan Department of Labour, Work and Family unit, for nearly three years. Currently, she is completing a master of public administration degree through the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.

She has also worked on projects for a number of community organizations including the Saskatchewan Association for Community Living, Catholic Family Services of Saskatoon, and the Children’s Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan.

Danielle has two daughters.

MLA - Lori Carr - Estevan

Dear Lord. We pray today for Lori Carr. Thank you for your hand on her life and your challenge to hear heart. We pray that you would continue to use her for good in the province, and that you would give her and the family a restful summer. Help her in all that she does to radiate your compassion and tenacity. Amen.

Lori was elected MLA for Estevan in the April 4, 2016 provincial election.

Lori lives in Estevan with her partner Bart. She has spent the past 20 years working as a licensed assistant in a financial planning office.

She is also very active in the community as a board member for the Air Cadet League, Sun County Health Region and Ducks Unlimited.

Lori has raised three children and, in her spare time, loves to travel and be with family and friends.

She currently serves Saskatchewan as a member of the Standing Committee on the Economy, and she was previously a member of the Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice Committee.

MLA - Jennifer Campeau - Saskatoon Fairview

Dear Lord. Thank you for Jennifer Campeau and the work she does at the Legislature. We ask that you would give her a really awesome summer filled with memories and rest. We also pray that you would give her growing opportunities to influence and shape the politics of Saskatchewan with a heart that is guided by your love. Bless her. Amen.



Jennifer Campeau was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in 2011 and was re-elected in 2016.

Prior to entering politics, Jennifer was an instructor at the University of Saskatchewan as well as a PhD student. Jennifer also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan and a Business Management undergraduate degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Jennifer has been driven to pursue politics, serve her community, and go to school but says her greatest accomplishment is her daughter, Denaya. Jennifer knows first-hand the importance of doing all she can to make the province of Saskatchewan a great place for our children.

f the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Jennifer previously served as Minister of Central Services and Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Transportation Company.

MLA - David Buckingham - Saskatoon Westview

Dear Lord. We thank you for David Buckingham and we ask for you continued blessing on his life and work. May his work at the legislature bring him great personal satisfaction, and may he truly move the dial for people who desperately need help. May he have an ear for the needs of people with lesser means and harder knocks. Amen

David Buckingham was elected MLA for Saskatoon Westview in the April 2016 provincial election. He currently serves on the Standing Committee on Human Services, and was previously a member of Standing Committee on the Economy.

Born and raised in the farming community near Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, David moved to Saskatoon in 1979 to pursue a career in the car hauling business as a commercial driver. In 1988, David and his wife Karen moved to the community of Borden to raise their three children.

Always an active volunteer in his community, David has served as a volunteer firefighter, president of the Borden Parks and Recreation Committee, and as the co-founder of the Highway 16 Fire Commission, a group that was formed to regionalize training for volunteer firefighters.

David served two terms as mayor of the Village of Borden. Prior to that he served one term as a councillor. A background in municipal government has given David a strong understanding of the issues of a growing and vibrant community. He wants to ensure the constituents of Saskatoon Westview have a voice at the provincial level as their community continues to grow.

David and his wife Karen enjoy spending time with their three children and three granddaughters.

MLA - Greg Brkich - Arm River

Dear lord. Thank you for Greg Brkich. We ask you to strengthen his resolve for the things that he knows is right, while helping him to maintain an open mind to the nuances of real life. Help him to truly accept the things he cannot change, and to work tirelessly for the things he can actually make a difference on. Amen.

Greg Brkich was born and raised on the family farm in the Bladworth area where he operates a grain and cattle operation. Previous to his first election as MLA, Greg served six years on Bladworth Village Council. He is still an active, long-serving member of the Bladworth Elks Club.

First elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly on September 16th, 1999, Greg was re-elected in 2003, 2007, 2011, and again in 2016.

Greg's legislative duties have included senior critic for Regional Development and Co-operative Development, and deputy critic for SaskWater and SPMC. Greg also served on the House Services Committee, as the vice-chair of the Standing Committee on Private Members' Bills, and as a member of the Crown Corporations and Private Bills committees.

During his past terms in office, Greg has served as the Deputy Speaker and Chair of the Committee of the Whole.  He was a member of the legislature's Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice, the Treasury Board, and the Investment Board. Greg has also served as a Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Economy.

Greg currently serves as Chair of the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, and he is a member of the Economy Committee and the Privileges Committee. He previously served as Government Deputy Whip, as well as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies, and the House Services Committee.

MLA - Fred Bradshaw - Carrot River Valley

Dear Lord. We pray for Fred Bradshaw and the work he finds in front of him this season. Help him to truly enjoy his legislative work while also having a balanced approach to life. Give him wisdom and courage throughout the summer to do what is most in the interest of Saskatchewan people. Amen.

Born in Arborfield in 1951, Fred later moved to Carrot River where he still lives. In 1976 he married his wife Terry and they have since had three children: Lisa (deceased), Morgan and Gina.

During his younger years, Fred worked on the oil rigs in the winter and farmed in the summer. In the mid-1980s he obtained his commercial pilots' license and started aerial spraying to diversify his farm.

Fred has served on Carrot River Town Council, the Pasquia Park board, the Arborfield Dehy board, and as a member of the Carrot River United Church Choir. He has been involved with the Fire Department, as a Boy Scout Leader, and is also a past president and director of the Saskatchewan Aerial Applicator Association. Additionally, Fred served on the founding board of the Northeast Early Childhood Intervention Program.

First elected in November 2007, Fred was re-elected in the 2011 and 2016 provincial elections.

Fred has served as Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Environment (Forest Management), Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Energy (Heavy Oil and Northern Resource Development), as a member of the Standing Committee on Economy and as a member of the caucus Red Tape Committee.

Fred currently serves Saskatchewan as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.
