MLA - Nicole Rancourt - Prince Albert Northcote.

Dear Lord. We pray today for Nicole Rancourt. We ask that you help her to faithfully engage in her work. Help her to maintain personal standards and to uphold those around her as well. May she gain great inspiration from what she does. Bless her. Amen.





Nicole Rancourt was elected in 2016 as the MLA for Prince Albert Northcote.
Nicole is a registered social worker and worked at the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region.
Nicole has been a volunteer with many organizations. In 2008, the Elizabeth Fry Society presented Nicole with their Rebel With A Cause award for her work with incarcerated women. She is the past chairperson of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Saskatchewan Penitentiary and Prince Albert Parole.
Nicole has a son and daughter, a step-son and step-daughter, and two grandsons. She and her partner enjoy cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, playing slo-pitch on local teams, and supporting local sports and arts.

MLA - Kevin Phillips - Melfort

Dear Lord. We pray today for Kevin Phillips. Thank you for the work that he has been doing in the legislature. We ask that you help him to divide between the truth and fiction that is constantly swirling in public life. Help him to find bedrock to stand on, and the courage to make it obvious. Bless him in the walk with you. Amen.



Kevin Phillips was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the 2011 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2016.
Kevin has lived in the Melfort constituency for nearly 40 years. He has worked in business and advertising in Melfort, which includes being a partner with the Melfort Journal for over 25 years, and sitting on the board of the Canadian Community Newspaper Association. He most recently served as Mayor of Melfort.
Kevin has been very involved in the Melfort community. He is a past president of the Kinsmen Club of Melfort and previously served as a board member and chairman of the Melfort School Division.
“I’m excited to continue making positive changes for municipalities and the constituency of Melfort.”
Currently, Kevin serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.
Kevin and his wife April have four children and five grandchildren.

MLA - Hon. Greg Ottenbreit - Yorkton

Dear Lord. We bring the Honourable Greg Ottenbreit to you today and pray for your miraculous hand of healing. We thank you for the work that he has done in the legislature for the benefit of the Saskatchewan people. He has devoted himself to you and to this province. Today we pray that you would heal his body and give him a full recovery in order to continue serving well into the future. Bless he and his family with a close walk with you. Amen.


Greg was first elected as the MLA for Yorkton in the 2007 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2011 and 2016. Born in Regina, Greg is a long-time resident of Yorkton and a man who has always been involved in his community. Prior to being elected, Greg owned and operated Ottenbreit Waste Systems, a private environmental and waste disposal business. He is an avid motorsports enthusiast and commercial pilot.
Greg has been married to his high school sweetheart, Leone, for over 30 years. They have two daughters, Katelin and Rayanne, as well as a son-in-law, Austin, and one granddaughter, Wynnslet.
In 1998, the couple started "Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer" – an event that encourages volunteers to shave their heads to raise money for cancer research and local initiatives. The charity is named in honour of their son, Brayden, who lost his battle with cancer in 2000 at age 5. Over $800,000 has been raised for cancer research and local cancer initiatives. In recognition of these efforts, they received the Community Merit Award in 2016, presented by the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce.
Because of their community involvement and volunteerism, Greg and his wife Leone were recognized in 2005 with the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal. Greg was recognized again in 2012 with the Hal Rogers Fellow Award, the highest honour presented by the Kinsmen of Canada.
Greg has served as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Social Services (Community Based Organizations initiative), Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Environment (Recycling), and Legislative Secretary to the Premier (Vulnerable Youth). Greg has also served as Government Whip, Deputy Government Whip, and Chair of the caucus' standing policy committee on human services as well as the legislature's Standing Committee on Human Services.
Since September of 2014, Greg has serves Saskatchewan as Minister responsible for Rural and Remote Health. Additionally, in June 2016, he was asked to take on the responsibility for the Saskatchewan-Ukraine Relations Advisory Committee.

MLA - Eric Olauson - Saskatoon University

Dear Lord. We pray today for Eric Olauson. We ask that you would give him insight into the nuanced ethical considerations of the decisions in front of him. Help him to stand true to the best choice, even if it is unpopular. Bless he and his family with healthy and meaningful spiritual lives. Amen.



Eric Olauson was elected MLA for Saskatoon University on April 4, 2016.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Eric has called the Saskatoon University constituency home for most of his life.
Eric has served the City of Saskatoon as Ward 8 Councillor and has been involved with the Knights of Columbus, SREDA Board of Directors; Prairieland Park board; District Planning Commission, Regional Oversight Committee; and as a past president of the East College Park community association.
Eric's experience at the civic level helps him to bring the right understanding of the issues and challenges that face the people of Saskatoon.
He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice, the Standing Committee on Private Bills, and the government caucus Management Committee.
Eric and his partner DonnaLyn have one son and three daughters.

MLA - Hugh Nerlien - Kelvington - Wadena

Dear Lord. Thank you for Hugh Nerlien. We pray that you would give him a keen sense of heart. Sharpen his awareness of the people in his constituency that need extra help. Bless he and his wife Giselle with a wonderful spring season. Amen.




Hugh Nerlien was elected MLA for Kelvington-Wadena Constituency on April 4, 2016.
Hugh was born in Kelvington and grew up on the family farm and in small business in the Greenwater Lake area of Saskatchewan. His education includes a wide range of disciplines including business administration, Canadian securities, certified financial planning, and lifelong learning in oil and gas, insurance, banking, human resource, and a variety of skills development.
After working in Northern Manitoba and Alberta for over 30 years, he saw opportunities in Saskatchewan. He and his wife bought a business in Porcupine Plain to be closer to family and friends and to be involved in a small community’s activities. Hugh recently sold his business in Porcupine Plain and turned his attention to representing the constituents of Kelvington-Wadena.
Hugh has volunteered extensively throughout his life, including as a former President of the Canadian Crime Stoppers Association, Porcupine Plain Economic Development Committee, and board member for Porcupine Credit Union Limited.
Hugh has been appointed to the caucus Legislation and Regulation committee, which works closely with the Red Tape Review sub-committee. He is also a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.
Hugh and his wife Giselle have two sons and one daughter.

MLA - Hon. Don Morgan - Saskatoon Southeast

We ask you to give him a boost of energy and drive as the spring session nears a close and the challenges of the current context impacts his constituents and the people he serves. Grant him wisdom and spontaneity that is helpful to your cause. Bless him. Amen.





Don Morgan was born, raised and educated in Saskatoon. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (College of Law) in 1978 and practiced law in Saskatoon from 1979 to 1988. Between 1988 and 1992, he was chair and CEO of the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission and was appointed as Queen's Counsel in 1990. He practiced law in Saskatoon from 1992 until 2007. Don also served on the Saskatoon Public School Board from 1999 to 2003, including a term as board chair.
Don was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in November 2003, representing the constituency of Saskatoon Southeast. He was re-elected in the 2007, 2011, and 2016 provincial elections. During his term in opposition, Don served as critic for Justice, deputy critic for First Nations and Métis Relations, Opposition Deputy House Leader, and sat on the legislature’s Standing Committee on Private Bills.
Since the 2007 provincial election, Don has served Saskatchewan as Minister of Justice and Minister of Advanced Education. He is currently Deputy Premier, Minister of Education, Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety, Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board, and a member of the caucus Legislation and Regulation Review Committee.
Don and his wife Sandy reside in the Rosewood area of Saskatoon.

MLA - Hon. Scott Moe - Rosthern Shellbrook

Scott Moe was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the 2011 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2016.
Scott was born and raised in the constituency on a grain farm between Shellbrook and Parkside. Currently, Scott and his wife Krista live in Shellbrook with their two children. As a family, they enjoy many outdoor activities in what he describes as the irreplaceable landscape of Saskatchewan.
Scott was educated at the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Scott has been active in the community through his work with the Economic Development Corporation, the Shellbrook and District Health Services Project Inc., and the Shellbrook and District Physician Recruitment Committee. He has also volunteered his time to work with local hockey and softball associations.
Scott served as a member of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies and was deputy chair of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
Scott is currently Minister of Environment, Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Corporation, and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Security Agency. He previously served Saskatchewan as Minister of Advanced Education.
