MLA: Terry Dennis - Canora-Pelly

Terry Dennis was elected MLA for Canora-Pelly on April 4, 2016.

Terry has been involved in politics at the civic level, as a Mayor and Town Councilor, for over 20 years. He is also the co-owner of Dennis Foods in Canora.

In addition to his busy professional life, Terry has been involved in the community as a volunteer with the Canora Health Foundation, member of the SaskTel Board of Directors, and various coaching and executive positions with Canora Minor Sports.

Terry currently serves Saskatchewan as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.

He and his wife Lorri have two daughters and one son.

MLA: Dan D'Autremont - Cannington

Thank you, that you have raised up mentors like Dan D’Autremont who choose to stay the course and face the challenges. Fill Dan with a sense of vision for the term ahead and give him opportunities to influence and mentor others in government. One of the "Original Eight" founding members of the Saskatchewan Party, Dan was first elected to the Legislature in 1991. He was re-elected in 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2016.

In opposition, Dan served as critic for Highways, Education, Energy and Mines, Health, SaskTel, ITO, SLGA and SGI. While critic for the SLGA, Dan also worked closely with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority and First Nations. He served as the chair of the caucus' Crown Corporations Committee and vice-chair of the legislature's Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.

Since the Saskatchewan Party formed government, Dan has served as Minister responsible for SLGA, Government Services, and ITO. He has also served as Government House Leader, co-chair of the Legislation and Regulation Review Committee, as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies, and as a member of the Public Accounts Committee.

For the 27th Legislature, Dan served as Speaker of Legislative Assembly, chair of the Board of Internal Economy, the Privileges Committee, and the House Services Committee. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Human Services and a member of the Private Bills Committee.

Dan and his wife Heather have three children. Family, friends, and politics are Dan's top priorities, but he also enjoys hunting, shooting, reading, computers, gaming with his children, and the Air Cadet League.

MLA: Hon. Herb Cox - The Battlefords

Today, Lord, we lift up the Hon. Herb Cox to you. We ask that you would give him wisdom for the important decisions that lie before him. We pray for joy in his journey and that his gaze would remain steadfast upon you. And for his family, Lord, we ask that you would bless them with love, peace, and joy.

Herb was elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in the 2011 provincial election for the constituency of The Battlefords.

Herb was born in Brandon, Manitoba. He attended school there and graduated from Brandon University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. After graduation he moved to Saskatchewan and while employed with a financial institution he worked in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Lloydminster, Swift Current, and North Battleford.

Prior to entering politics, Herb was a realtor in North Battleford since 1974, has strong roots in the community and has served with a number of organizations including: three terms as president, Battlefords Real Estate Board; four years as president, Saskatchewan Team Penning Association; two years as president, Canadian Team Penning Association; member of the Town of Battlefords industrial planning committee; and, sports chairman with the Zone Seven winter games.

In 2003, Herb served as a campaign manager with the Saskatchewan Party. He also ran as the candidate in The Battlefords in the 2007 provincial election. In that election, he came within 300 votes of becoming the MLA for the constituency.

Since his election in 2011, he has been appointed to the caucus management committee, the caucus committee for crowns and central agencies, and the legislature’s Public Accounts Committee. On September 24, 2014, Mr. Cox was appointed Government Whip.

Herb and his wife Linda are proud that their three children – a welder, a Chartered Accountant, and a pilot – all live and work in Saskatchewan.

MLA: Hon. Ken Chevaldayoff - Saskatoon Willowgrove

God we thank you for Hon. Ken Chevaldayoff and how you have blessed him with a business mind. We ask that you would continue to use him for your purposes. Grant him wisdom as he makes decisions and counsels those involved in economic decisions. We pray for protection for him and his family as they serve faithfully in the community; give them influence and favor as they work to build a stronger city and province. Ken was first elected MLA for Saskatoon Silver Springs in 2003. He was re-elected in the 2007 and 2011 provincial elections. With the changes in provincial boundaries, he was re-elected in 2016 as the MLA for Saskatoon Willowgrove.

Since the Saskatchewan Party formed government, Ken has been responsible for various portfolios including time as Minister of Crown Corporations, Minister of Enterprise, Minister responsible for SaskEnergy, and Minister responsible for Trade.

Ken has served Saskatchewan as Minister of First Nations and Métis Relations, Minister responsible for Sask Gaming Corporation, and Minister responsible for Northern Affairs.  He has also been Minister of Environment, Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Watershed Authority and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Corporation.

Ken is currently Government House Leader and a member of the Privileges Committee, the House Services Committee, and the Board of Internal Economy. He also sits on the caucus Legislation and Regulation Review Committee.

Ken attended Carleton University in Ottawa, the University of Saskatchewan, and Newport University in Southern California, receiving a B.A. (Honours) in Economics and Political Science in 1988 and a Masters of Business Administration in 1996.

Prior to being elected, Ken worked with Western Economic Diversification assisting individual businesses and industries to grow and expand.

Ken and his wife Trish have raised their son Carter and daughter Paige in Saskatoon, and the entire family is very active in several community organizations and activities.

MLA: Danielle Chartier - Saskatoon Riversdale

Dear Lord, Thank you for Danielle Chartier and for her long term commitment and dedication to the Saskatoon Riversdale community being a third-generation resident.  We ask you to continue to give her favour in all she puts her hands to do. On September 21, 2009 Danielle Chartier was elected MLA for Saskatoon Riversdale in a by-election resulting from the retirement of former MLA, Lorne Calvert, and was re-elected in 2011.

Danielle is a third-generation resident of the Saskatoon Riversdale constituency. Originally trained as a journalist, Danielle has worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, as well as weekly newspapers and monthly magazines.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Regina, she worked for the Saskatchewan Department of Labour, Work and Family unit, for nearly three years. Currently, she is completing a master of public administration degree through the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.

She has also worked on projects for a number of community organizations including the Saskatchewan Association for Community Living, Catholic Family Services of Saskatoon and the Children’s Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan.

Danielle has two daughters.

MLA: Lori Carr - Estevan

Father we are thankful for Lori Carr and the privilege of serving the constituency of Estevan in the legislature. Provide her with varied opportunities that will allow her to broaden her experience and knowledge base as well as be an effective representative. Lori was elected MLA for Estevan in the April 4, 2016 provincial election.

Lori lives in Estevan with her partner Bart. She has spent the past 20 years working as a licensed assistant in a financial planning office.

She is also very active in the community as a board member for the Air Cadet League, Sun County Health Region and Ducks Unlimited.

Lori has raised three children and, in her spare time, loves to travel and be with family and friends.

Lori currently serves Saskatchewan as a member of the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice.

MLA: Hon. Jennifer Campeau - Saskatoon Faiview - Minister of Central Services and Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Transportation Company

Jennifer Campeau was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the 2011 provincial election for the constituency of Saskatoon Fairview.

Prior to entering politics, Jennifer was an instructor at the University of Saskatchewan as well as a PhD student. Jennifer also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan and a Business Management undergraduate degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Jennifer has been driven to pursue politics, serve her community and go to school but the greatest accomplishment has been her daughter, Denaya. Jennifer knows firsthand the importance in doing all she can to make the province of Saskatchewan a great place for our children.

On June 5, 2014, Jennifer was appointed Minister of Central Services and Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Transportation Company.
